Supriya has 22 years of tech industry experience, spanning various industries and countries. She was a finalist in the ‘Women in AI in ANZ’ awards in 2021. Notably, she holds a patent for an IoT device capable of making AI-based decisions at the edge and triggering actions in primary sectors. As a delegate representing the Victorian industry, she participated in an IoT-focused government mission to Southeast Asia.
In the early 2000s, Supriya embarked on her security journey and collaborated with senior leadership teams to implement a robust and cost-effective security governance framework. As an Accessibility SME, she has worked with people with disabilities and wants to share usability challenges faced by assistive technology users due to cyber security controls. Her paper submission aims to create awareness about the user community that needs accessible cybersecurity controls.
