Stewart Walters

Stewart Walters is a Managing Director, Security Architect, Lecturer, and Committee Member.

With almost 30 years experience working in the technology sectors, he is involved in a wide range of strategic and tactical work in the Information Security industry.

At Bespoke IT Pty Ltd, Stewart is the Managing Director & Principal Consultant - a boutique consultancy agency engaged Australia-wide to provide customers with unique and custom tailored IT and Information Security solutions.

Bespoke IT Pty Ltd addresses high-end and complex problems for its customers, including: GRC, Audit, Security Strategy, Security Architectures, Security Assessments (including Technical Controls and Pen-testing), Project Management and Solution Implementation.

Stewart in particular has specialties in design and implementation of Cryptography/PKI solutions, Essential Eight Solution Design (especially Application Control and Multi-factor Authentication), Privilege Access Management, Active Directory etc.

At South Metropolitan TAFE (Murdoch campus), Stewart is a Casual Lecturer and Content Designer, who designs and lectures the next generation of Australia's Information Security workforce on the subjects of Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Project Management, Communications, and via the TAFECyber and ACSC/ASD partnership, the Essential Eight Registered Assessors course.

At the ISC2 Western Australia (WA) Chapter (Chartering), Stewart is a both a founding member and the recently elected President-Elect.  The ISC2 WA Chapter's mission is to build partnerships between the WA community and industry, as well as to advocate for and develop the the skills of the WA Information Security professionals (both aspiring and working Information Security professionals in the field).

At the Second Thursday of the Month (STOTM) Club, Stewart is one of the Administrative team.  STOTM is Perth's Day of the Month (DOTM) Club, responsible for providing a regular monthly meeting for networking and social opportunities to those working in the InfoSec, IT, Risk, and adjacent industries.
