Shona works as the Community Engagement Coordinator at IDCARE, contributing to the Outreach and Engagement team since 2022. She actively extends IDCARE's practices and services, focusing on community outreach to raise awareness about scams, cybercrime, and identity theft. Through various channels such as community sessions and pop-up clinics, Shona ensures that IDCARE's support reaches individuals in remote and regional communities, providing them with valuable information and assistance in navigating the online landscape.
Prior to joining IDCARE, Shona spent 20+ years in the education sector, holding senior leadership roles, including positions as Assistant Principal and Principal in the Northern Territory.
