Paul Maley is a multi-award winning journalist, consultant and senior national security policy advisor. From 2010-2020 Paul was The Australian newspapers National Security & Defence Editor, during which time he won numerous awards including a Walkley Award, the Lowy International Media Award and the Australian Press Council’s Press Freedom Medal. Paul worked as a senior advisor to the Defence Minister and the Home Affairs Minister, where he was the office’s senior cyber security advisor. Paul has relationships at the highest levels of Australian media, government & industry.
