
Kathy Sundstrom is a former award-winning journalist who switched to cyber security in 2020 joining IDCARE, Australia and New Zealand's national identity and cyber support service. She was instrumental in research, development and the launch of IDCARE's Cyber Resilience Outreach Clinics (CROC) program in 2021, with the then Minister of Home Affairs, Karen Andrews. Kathy was also involved in advancing the CROC program, leading clinics across Queensland and all the way to the northern most tip of the country. In 2022, Kathy joined National Australia Bank as an Advisory & Awareness consultant, hosting cyber awareness presentations across Australia and online webinars. She rejoined IDCARE in April 2024, managing the outreach and education program.
