I am a widely recognised Information and Cyber Security expert, entrepreneur, speaker and volunteer with over 25 years corporate experience in the public and private sectors. I am a Certified Information Security Manager and Lead Auditor for Information Security. With a strong background in security governance, risk and compliance, I provide valuable advice to business stakeholders and executives, enabling them to balance risk while meeting business objectives. I have a deep knowledge of Australian Government and international compliance frameworks including the Australian Cyber Security Centre ISM and PSPF, Australian Privacy Act, Victorian Privacy and Data Protection Act, the ISO27000 series, NIST, GDPR and PCIDSS.
As a motivational speaker and consultant, I like to challenge my audiences to think outside the box, leverage their focus and pay attention to what matters at work and in life. I like to help people and organisation to embrace the hidden powers of change that builds resilience in turbulent times.
I am also passionate about mentoring and help guide my mentees to find their strengths, envision their goals and elevate the leader within to new heights.
Community support is a very important part of my life, and as President for a St Vincent de Paul Society Conference I have found immense fulfillment and personal growth by providing support to people experiencing poverty and inequality, giving them a hand up and working with a myriad of partners to shape a more just and compassionate society.
