Rose MacDonald is a former detective and digital forensic analyst with 20 years’ experience spanning two police jurisdictions. During her career, Rose investigated sexual violence, child abuse and homicide, before discovering her passion for digital forensics. In 2019, Rose launched Nansen with her business partner Andrew Collins, and together they set a goal of developing technologies for social good and combating technology-facilitated abuse in family, domestic and sexual violence (FDSV). In 2023, they launched Chain-FS, a world leading technology that immutably protects critical and personal records, thereby preventing their modification and deletion whilst enhancing privacy. Nansen offers a range of services including digital safety auditing and digital forensic services to victim-survivors of FDSV to prevent, identify and respond to technology-facilitated abuse
