Dr Skerritt is a lecturer in mathematics and cybersecurity at RMIT University. His background is in both computer science and mathematics, and includes work in the computer industry during the late 1990's and early 2000's (both before and during his undergraduate studies).
Dr Skerritt is interested in computers, mathematics, and the ways in which they meet. One particular area of interest therein is cryptography and security (an area that extends from his work experience).
