K.S has over a decade of pentesting experiences spanning across numerous industry verticals and technologies. He is highly experienced in testing embedded devices such as ATMs, IoT, SCADA, SDRs, access control systems, speed cameras, cruiseship. For over a decade, K.S has developed a particular interest in physical security and survalliance systems. With the uprising demand in physical security, K.S has the opportunity to test and evaluate various access control systems and how organisation respond to physical threats. Thoughout this journey, K.S uncovers the importance of early detection and response rather than prevention.
K.S was one of the key organisers for the lockpicking villages at BSides Melbourne, Adelaide and CrikeyCon. These community events gave KS an insight on the general curiosity and interests in physical security. In the up coming months, K.S hopes to run more lockpicking villages at conferences and workshops with executives.
K.S was also one of the key participants in 2017 Global Cyberlympics team from EY which placed 1st in Australia and 4th in the world. K.S also came 1st place in the Ruxcon 2017 Black Bag Challenge.
