Joe has extensive global experience in Information Security and Internal Audit. He is the CSO and Principle AI Assessor for Sirius Matters Pty Ltd; a consultancy specialising in cybersecurity Audit-as-a-Service and AI Ethics and Trustworthy services. He was most recently Head of Security & Technology Audit for Australian Unity, and was the Global Head of Internal Audit for the Asia-Pacific region for Vanguard and established the first Internal Audit department outside the USA for Vanguard here in Australia, and grew to support Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan. Joe also worked in the Vanguard Information Security department conducting assessments of partners and vendors and advising Vanguard on security regulations. Joe teaches graduate courses in Cybersecurity at Tulane University.
