Jorell is the founder and CEO of Elezar, a Melbourne based Cyber Security start-up, building an intelligence-driven threat management platform for CISO's and cyber leaders that prioritises relevant threats and mitigation strategies based on their organisation's unique profile. He is also the consulting CISO for OpusV, a leader in system integration and Managed Service Provider (MSP) for critical infrastructure in the APAC region. Prior, Jorell was the Cyber Threat and Vulnerability Intelligence Manager at National Australia Bank (NAB) where he won the FS-ISAC Global leaders award in 2022 in recognition for his contribution to the threat intelligence community, and was also gifted with an ACSC /ASD challenge coin for his contribution to the CTIS program. Jorell has 14 years of Technology and Cyber Security experience in various industries including finance, government, managed security services and vendor services. Throughout his career he has successfully lead incident response engagements, executed multi-million-dollar cyber security projects, developed and matured cyber defence and threat intelligence capabilities for enterprise environments, and managed and trained cyber engineering and threat analysts.
