Jeannie Marie Paterson

Jeannie Marie Paterson is a Professor of Consumer Protection and Technology Law and founding Director of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Ethics at the University of Melbourne. 

Jeannie’s research focuses on regulatory design for promoting responsible artificial intelligence. Much of her current work focuses on the regulatory and ethical challenges of misleading AI, including concerns around misrepresentation, misinformation and deep fake fraud.
