Gaurav Sood leads the engineering team at miniOrange, serving as the Head of Architecture. With more than a decade of building cutting-edge Identity and Access Management products, he has established himself as a cybersecurity leader.
Over the course of his career, he has worked extensively on languages ranging from C/C++, Java, Python, Javascript and C# and has built multiple security solutions actively used by customers across the globe. The security solutions range in diverse fields, such as Single Sign-On, Multifactor Authentication, Adaptive Risk-based Access and User Lifecycle Management. He also has extensive expertise in offensive security tools, such as the Kali Linux tool-kit, Burpsuite, ZAP and Nessus. With his interests on the offensive side of security as well as writing code to build products, he puts a great emphasis on the need for having developers write code as secure as possible and the need for multiple levels of security for web applications.
Gaurav is also an established speaker at both developer and security conferences, such as PyCon and IdentityShield. He has the unique ability to merge the aspects of cybersecurity and complex product development, making him a valuable leader in ensuring and advancing security of applications.
