Darren is the Head of Cyber Security & Operations for Trusted Impact. Darren’s experience with networks, systems administration, and cyber security spans over 25 years. He has worked across a broad range of industries including retail, finance, charities and not-for-profit as well as State and Local Government and consulting. He has led and performed hundreds of penetration tests and evaluations of technical issues with respect to External, Internet-facing technologies, Internal Networks, Web applications, Operational Technology (SCADA, PLC, etc.), Wi-Fi, Mobile Applications and Cloud Infrastructure.
Darren strives to clearly communicate risk, issues and recommendations to clients in an understandable and relatable way.
Darren has a keen interest in the history of technology and computers and as a part of his interest in history is the author of 'No Regard for the Truth' which was shortlisted for the Victorian Community History Awards in 2020.
