Bhanuka is a 2nd year PhD student at the University of Sydney with Networked Systems and Security (NSS) Research Lab. His research focus is on building solutions to make privacy policies more user-friendly and detecting privacy compliance violations automatically. He obtained his bachelor’s degree specialising in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in 2019 with first class honours and has previously conducted research with DATA61, CSIRO at Queensland Centre for Advanced Technologies as a visiting research scholar.
