The future of GRC is here - Just unevenly distributed

As a consultant and assessor, I have noted large differences between the organisations that are rapidly maturing and those that struggle to maintain their compliance.

There are simple processes and concepts that can be addressed to move the compliance process forward without consuming extra time and effort.

In a previous presentation at AISA Cyberconference, I highlighted eight concepts that could be applied and, in this update, I will revisit them as well as taking a deeper dive into new technology and process trends that some organisations are using to become more mature.

I will dip into my 25 years of experience to paint real life scenarios that show how organisations are being both effective and efficient with meeting their compliance requirements.

I will also share some secrets of how assessors work. (Hopefully I won’t lose my membership of the secret assessor alliance.)
