Taylor is a Security Advisor at Trustwave, specialising in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC). Taylor has worked on projects across numerous industries during her time at Trustwave, including healthcare, education, insurance, charities and critical infrastructure clients. She has been engaged by clients to provide security advisory services in the form of compliance with various cybersecurity standards, including ISO 27001, NIST CSF and ACSC’s Essential Eight.
Taylor has been actively involved in several vCISO arrangements, responsible for designing and uplifting their Information Security Management Systems and strategizing risk identification and management processes. Most of these vCISO engagements are for charities and smaller organisations, who would not ordinarily have the capacity for an in-house Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Taylor bridges this gap, providing ongoing support to the charity and assisting the Board of Directors to meet their cybersecurity goals. In this role, Taylor liaises with members on the Executive Leadership Teams, various internal and external stakeholders, and internal technical team members to ensure their requirements are being addressed through her deliverables.
